HV_Gen-coils in color, coils, coils, coils, coils and so on...8D

This is the new bigger setup...:P

This is the new 350mm main rotor(maybe)...dont know 4 sure...uhhmmm??

Update : 1...below = 5 new pics of some progress i made on i new project...:)
this project sure have alot more parts than the other be4...think i just lost my mind...w8...cant lost what u dont have now can u...:P

1 thing is 4 sure ima really pushing i-self over yah limits with this build...
but the results will be sweet or not...haha...yeh i know i know...ima sound like a nut case...not my problem tho...:D

now thats some really sweetness 4 yah eyes...:D...if not...just dont look...haha...:P
this is 1 of the units in stage 1 of my setup...;-)
all those holes make it look like swiss cheese...but they r not there just 4 the fun of it...;-)

all parts alined very well...not bad @ this age...haha...
all those drawing @ young age wasnt 4 nothing...o.0
its not glued 2gether...just dry fix...

side view of the holes...now u can see why they r there 4...

update : 2...new pics below...
here r the 2 finished small units...:)
1 side of each unit is detachable 2 get the Rotor in place...;-)

here is the bigger unit...not all holes r gonna get coils...
that would b 2 expensive...but just 2 b on the safe side i made enough...4 future improvement, if needed...:)
most likely i will put like 6 2 8 coils on it 4 now...

Update : 3...25-10-2009...6 new pics...:)
here r all the coils 4 the big unit...just soldering the wires and glueing some connection...:)
top left is 1 high current coil and the 2 at the bottom right r 2 aswell...
they have red/black wires...well at least i hope they produce some high(er) current...:P

here r the 3 rotors...they r nice and round but they r not done yet.
the holes u see r not for the magnetes...i still need 2 drill/saw the holes 4 the magnetes...

these 2 smaller units have now there bearing holders glued 2 the side of them...
these 2 r completely done now(hopefully)...only the rotors r still in construction...:)

here is the big unit with the coils in their places...:)))
coils r not perma fix yet...just checking if all is alined well...so far so good...;-)
the rotor was suppose 2 b much thicker (60mm & not 20mm)...thats why now the coils r sticking in the rotor compartment...://
so i need 2 find another way 2 fix them properly...if i went 4 the 60mm rotor that would have been like 6 times more expensive for the Nylon...:/
anyway...1 thing is 4sure...1 have 2 b flexibel when building these stuff...there is always something 2 re-do/think along the way...;-))

the other side and also the bearing holders have been glued 2 each side aswell...:)

and this 1...thats it folks...:))
yep...its gonna b a colorfull contraption...:D...:P...;-)...

Update : 4-11-2009
these 3 pics and 2 drawings r 4 helping cass ...& others if they need it...:)
these parts u see r parts being build 4 me New_Project...
things u need:
1-threaded builders bar
2-big washers...these r 2 make sure ur rotor dont wobble...:)
2-small washer
2-Nuts...ohhh yeh...u need balls m8...haha...sorry bout that...:D
1- rotor...like duh...:P

here u see them all assemble...sweet...:)

here u see 1 bearing with 1 washer and 1 nut on each side...note that the washer doesnt enterfere with the running of the bearing...

here r a drawing of the rotor and parts

and here u have 2 choices of how to put the both end of the axel with the bearing in tha wood...:)
4got 2 mention in Pic...in situation 2 u need 2 NUTS @ the end tho...other wise u can not get it tighten...:)
and siruation 2 is easier 2 do...only abit more work on drilling with 2 size of drills...
situation 1 is easy on the drilling BUT makes tunning the bearing in place abit more difficult...:)

Cheers & Thumbs Up 4 The Daftman
